Fatto riparare da un altro alla metà di quanto chiesto da lui.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un vecchio orologio ritrovato con "attaccata" la mia gioventù. Lo voglio funzionante, da chi vado? Mi dicono di andare in P.zza Garibaldi, lì trovi un negozio datato, come l'orologio. Eccolo! Si chiama: Orologeria - Oreficeria 1954 M. Fracchia 2014. Entro e trovo un giovin uomo, accanto c'è suo padre. Ascoltano il problema. Mi dicono che la riparazione si può fare. Percepisco l'orgoglio di una tradizione familiare: mi raccontano di tre generazioni, passate da quella bottega/laboratorio. Infatti è riconosciuta "Bottega antica" alessandrina, con tanto di attestato. Lavoro fatto con ottima perizia. Pago il giusto e vado. Rimane impresso l'orgoglio di quel padre, l'entusiasmo e l'impegno di quel figlio che guarda avanti. Ha ragione Adenauer: "Viviamo tutti sotto lo stesso cielo, ma non abbiamo tutti lo stesso orizzonte." Quel giovane "artigiano" di P.zza Garibaldi me lo ha ancora ricordato.

The pride of that father remains imprinted, the enthusiasm and commitment of that son who looks ahead. Adenauer is right: "We all live under the same sky, but we don't all have the same horizon." That young "artisan" from Piazza Garibaldi still reminded me of it.
