We lived surrounded by pure air and silence, in a very short time you can reach Lucca, Viareggio or take breathtaking trekking in the surroundings. Elena and Federico are welcoming and helpful, they produce high quality organic and biodynamic food products. Elena is an incredible cook, we ate like royalty! Living in the Norwegian mountains, i am used to great views, Here you can't look so far but it is a typical Tuscan valley, and farming activities make it a calm but alive place. Nice house, good rooms - of course, most places have good rooms. Many hotels and agritourisms also have good kitchen, but this was more than good - at least for my taste. What really makes Nicos farm perfect, are you people living there. Arrived as guest, left as friend. Thank you.

It’s such a beautiful place hidden in a green valley near to Lucca, the Garfagnana and the Seaside. We loved every day of our stay and can absolutely recommend it. We enjoyed the peaceful, familiar, easy going atmosphere. Elena and Federico created a magnificent house and garden and especially their hospitality and kindness are heart-winning. We stayed in the spacious and lovingly furnished apartment. Although we could have cooked by our own in the apartment, we decided to have dinner with the family and the other guests which is an unforgettable event (as well from the culinary as from the social point of view ).Even our Children were caught by all the great Tuscan flavors like salvia, artichoke, farro….which are lovingly cooked by Elena from the organic vegetables and herbs of the farm. We were impressed how relaxed and cheerful Elena and Federico were even in the biggest rush with lots of guests, when they still found time to let the children create their very own pizzas. Particularly for children it’s a wonderful place to run around, to play in the garden, to observe the plants and animals (hundreds of lightning bugs!). It’s amazing and touching to see all the children together creating a hilarious play despite the language barrier. Thank You for a lot of unforgettable and tasty days and evenings and all the best to you!
