un piccolo scrigno ed una vera bellezza.....la struttura e' stata piu' volte interessata da lavori che nel tempo l'hanno vista restaurata nel suo complesso.
Nei primi anni del '600......ma gia' nel '500 si parlava di un'antica cappella dedicata alla Madonna.
Gli architetti Cipriani prima del 1724, successivamente il Mola ed poi il Ponti sono intervenuti con migliorie e modifiche.
Il Grampini nel 1748 realizza gli stucchi della cappella e dell'altare maggiore.
Attualmente essendo chiuso il Santuario della Santa Angela vi si conservano le spoglie della Santa. Anche questa struttuta viene gestita in modo notevole dai Frati Minori Conventuali.
Da visitare senza indugio.....
A bit of history.......
a small treasure chest and a real beauty ..... the structure has been repeatedly affected by works that over time have seen it restored as a whole.
In the early 1600s ... but already in the 1500s there was talk of an ancient chapel dedicated to the Madonna.
The Cipriani architects before 1724, then the Mola and then the Ponti intervened with improvements and modifications.
Grampini in 1748 created the stuccos of the chapel and the main altar.
Currently, the Sanctuary of the Santa Angela is closed, the remains of the Saint are kept there. Also this structure is managed in a remarkable way by the Friars Minor Conventual.
