★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't be decieved by the promotional flyers which look a it insipid! These are 3 foot tall puppets very well jointed with fabulous costumes. The master puppeteer with help from his wife and family put on the show......centering around fighting knights for the fIr maidens hand.....Best puppet show I have ever seen......action, atmosphere, sound, hilarity. Kept me on tbe edge of my seat all the way through. The maestro demonstrates the gait of these special puppets.Standing ovation for a show of tbis calibre.....Hope you go and see it.....magnificent!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you want to become a child for 40 min that is the place...full of magic,colours and tradition of more than 400 years..!!!! Vincezo is the 4th generation owner and makes the puppets from scratch having also his whole family support this amazing form of ART..!! Performances every day at 5.30 for small and big children...trust me you will walk that door with a huge Smile on your face and collection of strong emotions!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I loved the show - particularly the feeling of continuity in a genre of popular art going back centuries. Great fun, and amazing to see the story developing - at one point I was so immersed in the story i forgot they were 1 m tall puppets.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We loved watching the marionette puppet theater in this intimate family venue. Even though we do not speak Italian, we were charmed by the drama and the passion of Orlando's adventures on stage. The set is wonderful, with forced perspective masterfully employed to increase the visual scale of the puppets, and the puppets themselves are incredible works of art. This performance would be excellent for all ages and all cultures. We are grateful this fantastic UNESCO recognized art form is still being nurtured in Sicily. Everyone visiting Sicily really should try to visit a puppet theater to see a performance, because it is so special and unique.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice theater, run by the same family since 1893, already five generations of puppeteers. The owners are of venerable age and the grandsons of the founder, their grandsons are the ones performing. Before the show, they explain the story and origins of the puppeteer tradition in Sicily; all the walls are decorated with pictures of the family and some old marionettes are also on display. After the show, it is possible to have pictures with the marionettes from the performance. They are very detailed and beautiful.
The show itself is very vivid, quick and with five or six different acts, full of action and battles, very easy to follow even if you do not speak Italian. It includes, however, sudden loud noises and voices as well as a demon which can be a bit scary for very young children.
A nice touch is that the very first row of seats is reserved for kids.
A great experience.
