Mentre le mie amiche sono rimaste soddisfatte io sono stata sfortunata. L'estetista, benché molto gentile, ha mostrato totale assenza di professionalità. Ha usato la raspa elettrica per limare le unghie, senza usare la lima per rifinire e facendomi male. Per giustificarsi ha detto che era solo il calore mentre poi a casa ho verificato che mi ha quasi scarnificato la pelle delle dita. Ha inoltre passato la raspa sulla superficie dell'unghia rendendola opaca e creando delle abrasioni arrivando quasi alla carne viva, anche se più volte ho ripetuto che volevo solo lo smalto e non il semipernanente. Ha inoltre insistito su un punto laterale dell'unghia malgrado provassi dolore. Lo smalto è stato applicato due volte, e sull'alluce tre volte perché lo smalto, consigliato da lei, era troppo denso e grumoso. Il risultato è stato orribile dal punto estetico ma mi sono resa conto degli altri problemi solo il pomeriggio dopo aver rimosso lo smalto per riapplicarlo da me. Nelle foto si possono vedere le abrasioni sulla superficie di tutti e due gli alluci, la rozzezza della limatura e i punti in cui la pelle superficiale è stata abrasa. Ora ci vorranno mesi prima che le unghie possano riacquisire la naturale pellicola protettiva. The enamel was applied twice, and on the big toe three times because the enamel, recommended by her, was too thick and lumpy. The result was horrible from an aesthetic point of view but I only realized the other problems in the afternoon after removing the nail polish to reapply it myself. In the photos you can see the abrasions on the surface of both big toes, the roughness of the filings and the places where the surface skin has been abraded.
