H	Hyun Ally on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best melanzane alla parmigiana and zuppa inglese I've had ever! A self serviced very local place. We had our first lunch here as soon as we arrived in Pisa and it's by far the best among all other restaurants I've been in Pisa. Staffs are super friendly (also my boyfriend's Italian skill helped) and prices are very fair and quality is mind blowing! The building itself has its charm. Not so touristy, I loved it! A must place in Pisa!

In addition we had the cold meat platter as a starter which I thought was tasty and fun. As usual my wife’s cheerful face indicates that we have again found a good restaurant!
S	Sophie Budden on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place. Rock up, choose your food; which can anything from slabs of grilled horse to pasta or boiled tongue with onions. There are vegetarian options too. Choose your drinks, lay your own table and clear up after you have finished. I really liked that the food was authentic and not showy. The only reason that I gave 4 stars was that the puddings were not great. Good place to go with friends.

A dry duck that was ready after 2 minutes, and then something they had the audacity to call pasta. The pasta was the biggest bummer, it was flat out disgusting. And don’t get me started on the dry but somehow very greasy potatoes.

Really nice grilled meat and the roasted potatoes were perfect as well. We ordered the pork chop mix (closer to the camera in the photo) and the beef with olives. The salad was very good too. Considering that it is said to be very much “self-service”, the only time we had to leave our table was to order our meal and salad. For everything else we were serviced by the staff (bringing the food, water etc). Totally recommend!
