Il risotto alla milanese arrivava a mezza porzione, un po’ scotto e senza mantecatura, il pollo alla brace un po’ secco ma non era male (sempre mezza porzione), il bollito di manzo buono ma era solo in 2 fette. Dunque 2 primi (che insieme sembra solo 1 porzione), 2 secondi (sempre mezze porzioni), 2 contorni, un acqua e un amaro abbiamo pagato 46€! Ah, e di tutto il personale (in cucina inclusi) nessuno aveva le mascherine. Non ci tornerò e non lo consiglio a nessuno. We didn't eat too badly but the real problem is the bill. The Milanese risotto came in half a portion, a little overcooked and without creaming, the grilled chicken a little dry but was not bad (always half a portion), the boiled beef was good but it was only in 2 slices. So 2 first courses (which together seems like only 1 portion), 2 second courses (always half portions), 2 side dishes, a water and a bitter we paid € 46! Oh, and of all the staff (including the kitchen) none had masks. I will not go back and do not recommend it to anyone.

La cucina nn è poi così male se si considera la conduzione familiare, ma quando arriva il conto capisci che nn ne vale la pena: un mezzo piatto di risotto alla milanese (le porzioni sono veramente piccole), nemmeno mantecato, un paio di fettine di bollito e un'insalatina con mezza acqua non possono costare 20 euro. I proprietari sono scherzosi e si fanno anche voler bene, da coloro che non sono a disagio, ma nn si capisce perchè mettano tanta fretta. Insomma ci siamo entrati per caso, scommettendo sui bellissimi proprietari della foto, ma la scommessa è andata persa: gli auguriamo di avere sempre tanti clienti felici, ma ci auguriamo di nn essere mai più tra questi. La trattoria è un delizioso pezzo della vecchia Milano ed i proprietari ci hanno passato la vita, è un posto dove mangi dei piatti semplici tradizionali, è più un pranzo in famiglia che una esperienza gastronomica ricercata. Se volete un posto ricercato come succede in molte cosiddette trattorie tradizionali state sbagliando, se invece volete fare una esperienza di un pranzo o cena quasi in famiglia, con piatti semplici, due chiacchiere in milanese e avete la sensibilità e la capacità di farlo, questo è il posto giusto. Sennò andate a mangiare il sushi. I am sorry to read some such unnecessarily bad reviews, as if you were judging yourself a 3 Michelin star. The trattoria is a delightful piece of old Milan and the owners have spent their lives there, it's a place where you eat simple traditional dishes, it's more of a family lunch than a refined gastronomic experience. If you want a refined place as happens in many so-called traditional trattorias you are wrong, if instead you want to experience an almost family lunch or dinner, with simple dishes, a chat in Milanese and you have the sensitivity and the ability to do so, this is the right place. Otherwise go eat sushi.

I proprietari gentilissimi e simpatici, parlano solo in dialetto e varrebbero da soli la visita. Il conto non è assolutamente in linea con i prezzi di Milano. Andateci, e fate anche in fretta! One of the last real trattorias left in Milan. You eat what there is, a first course, a couple of seconds and the red wine which is not so bad. The very kind and nice owners, speak only in dialect and alone would be worth the visit. The bill is absolutely not in line with the prices in Milan. Go there, and hurry up too!

I piatti sono semplici ma molto ben realizzati, soprattutto la cassouela e gli antipasti (salumi freddi e caldi). L'ambiente è molto ruspante, fermo a diversi decenni fa, e il servizio è piuttosto ruvido, accompagnato dal dialetto milanese e da qualche aneddoto che riporta nostalgicamente ai tempi dei nonni. Il conto non è dei più economici, ma nel complesso è un'esperienza da vivere fino in fondo. Typical Milanese trattoria with almost a hundred years of history. The dishes are simple but very well made, especially the cassouela and the antipasti (cold and hot salami). The environment is very free-range, stopped several decades ago, and the service is rather rough, accompanied by the Milanese dialect and some anecdote that nostalgically takes you back to the times of grandparents. The bill is not the cheapest, but overall it is an experience to be lived to the full.

Cibo e servizio davvero speciali ....come essere a casa....lasciatevi guidare dal signor Giuseppe....dall'antipasto fino al caprino stagionato, passando attraverso tutto quanto la cucina quella sera ha creato per voi (oltre che per se stessi).... Meravigliosi! Se non conoscete un po' di milanese pazienza affidatevi al destino, che a tavola è sempre benevolo!!! Milan l'è un gran Milan....a volte è proprio così anche per una romana!!!! Unique experience in a historic place in Milan. Really special food and service .... like being at home .... let yourself be guided by Mr. themselves) .... Wonderful!
