The baked goods are delicious but the shop assistant in Barbian works so unhygienically that the food has actually gone by.

Bakery with a lot of different breads, including regional. You can also buy regional honey, oils and regional dairy products, very polite service in English and German.

Kein Vergleich zu den bei uns in Süddeutschland erhältlichen Industriebackwaren nach Südtroler Art. Man kann nur hoffen, daß dies kein einmaliges Gastspiel ist und wir auch nächstes Jahr wieder an diesem Stand schlemmen und einkaufen können. We bought the Schüttelbrot and the Vinschgerl at the Christmas market in Nördlingen and are very enthusiastic. No comparison to the South Tyrolean industrial baked goods available from us in South Germany. One can only hope that this is not a one-off guest performance and that we can feast and shop at this stand again next year.
M	Marco M on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ho speso inutilmente 2,80 euro, che vi invito comunque ad usare per acquistare dei guanti o delle pinze da dare in dotazione al negozio di Barbiano per servire i dolci ai clienti. La commessa (comunque gentile) ha toccato vari oggetti e confezioni nel negozio, poi ha preso e imbustato i miei dolci e dopo ha incassato la mia vecchia banconota da 5 euro per darmi infine varie monete di resto. Tutto con le stesse mani nude. A parte il covid, io penso di avere (come altre persone) un criterio di igiene diverso e ho preferito gettare via i dolci una volta uscito dal negozio senza assaggiarli. Vorrei pensare che la fabbricazione dolciaria sia rispettosa di tutte le normative sulla manipolazione degli alimenti...ma allora perchè rovinare tutto nel servizio finale di vendita al dettaglio? The saleswoman (however kind) touched various objects and packages in the shop, then took and bagged my sweets and then cashed in my old 5 euro note to finally give me several change coins. All with the same bare hands. Aside from the covid, I think I have (like other people) a different hygiene policy and I preferred to throw away the sweets once I left the shop without tasting them. I would like to think that confectionery manufacturing is respectful of all regulations on food handling ... but then why spoil everything in the final retail service?
