Trying to catch a train on the metro line in the summer is a challenge. Lack of air conditioning. Overcrowding, trains running every 20 minutes and a lack of controls make this a truly challenging experience. Unfortunately an experience that I do not recommend to anyone

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La stazione di Napoli Garibaldi ,la ragazza di biglietteria e proprio maleducata ,la ragazza mi ha dato quattro cinque centesimi,gli ho chiesto mi potessi dare 20centesimi lei risponde non c’è lo ,richiedo mi potessi dare due dieci centesimi, lei risponde non c’è lo ,in una biglietteria non tiene 20-10centesimi?

Too dirty! In the station I had a hard time sitting down, because I was busy with homeless people and "other" scum, very dirty seats!

A good starting point for wandering around Naples and Vesuvius. The metro and the railway are close. The area is quite safe.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Non so in estate ma ora, aprile, è stata davvero una sorpresa positiva scoprire la funzionalità della metropolitana a Napoli. Certo, qualche bivacco e della sporcizia sono presenti ma, mi pare, questo è presente anche in altre città italiane.
Notevole quando si scende ai binari.....una profondità inconsueta.
I don't know in the summer but now, April, it was a really positive surprise to discover the functionality of the subway in Naples. Of course, some bivouacs and dirt are present but, it seems to me, this is also present in other Italian cities.
Remarkable when you go down to the tracks ..... an unusual depth.
