I had a reservation for the period October 9-12, 2021, with free cancellation until October 7, 2021. Until this date, when I had free cancellation, I had the money immobilized, so I could not use this money. On October 8, 2021, I received a message at 9.30 pm from DESANA STUDIO TORINO that I can no longer honor the accommodation and that Booking will contact me to offer me an alternative. I specify that I had a plane on the morning of October 9 at 6.20 am and I had also completed the PLF Locator, a form without which you cannot enter Italy and which specifies the accommodation during your stay in Italy. I was not approached by Booking.com the platform on which I had made the reservation, but I took the problem into my own hands to solve it. I was offered a disastrous accommodation according to the reviews in terms of cleanliness (a double room with shared bathroom) and I refused. They promised to come back in 30 minutes with an alternative offer and nothing. Nothing clear, to have a reasonable accommodation, like: you take one and we pay the difference. I received the money, but I lost the plane, because I could not go to another country without accommodation, given that at the airport, the Italian health authorities ask to know exactly where you can be located. I DO NOT RECOMMEND .... CLEAR LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM ... YOU EXPECT THEM TO ENSURE YOUR ACCOMMODATION AT THEIR EXPENDITURE, EVEN IF THEY LOSE MONEY, BECAUSE THEY CREATED THE PROBLEM AND THAT TOURIST RESPECTED ALL YOUR CONDITIONS ... THEY ARE NOT WORTH THE EFFORT OF CROSSING THEIR THRESHOLD ... AS THEY TREAT WITH THE CUSTOMERS, YOU BETTER LET YOURSELF BE DAMAGED AND LOOK FOR SOMETHING ELSE.
