A few very interesting pictures and facts. However not very big and one doesnt see much of the Fort. Still interesting and since the entry is free worth a visit.

I kind of liked the iPad given at the entrance for non Italian speaking visitors. 1 floor dedicated archeology of the liguria district , second floor showing with paintings 19th century

Nice museum. Really nice staff with bad English but really helpful. Gave us a tablet that told us everything about the rooms we were in. The staff gave us a map of the city and recommended places for us to visit.

I had an easy and enjoyable visit to the 'museo civico' of palazzo Nota, Sanremo. There are exhibits that will apeal to different disciplines and tastes, from Archiology to fine arts. In the arts area there were intresting and pretty works by prize winning art students, as well as paintings by established artists of various periods and degrees of fame. Somehow I was particularly drawn to a 1929 oil painting of classical style by Luigi Stracciari titled "Bussana di Sanremo, verso il paese abbandonato". The beauty of the landscape and the poignant human situation moved me. David Roggin New York June 30, 2018

Very interesting collection of artistic and archaeological pieces from the local territory, English artists from the victorian Age, and an amazing painting from RUBENS! Also excellent for kids with the interactive "Art box" area that allows them to create their own artwork inspired by the cartoonist Antonio Rubino.

Very well kept museum, the Rubens painting wasn't that exceptional. Really enjoyed the section dedicated to the old maps of Sanremo
