★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great educational museum tucked away in Como. A real gem and quite a surprise. Interactive items were good and the exhibits were varied. Spent about 3 hours in the museum.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I didn't know making silk was this difficult and technical. Very informative and everything is presented in a chronological order, from silkworms to the finished product.
It was definitely worth the visit and i would recommend giving it a go if you're nearby. They also had living silkworms and moths when we visited, really something else.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very interesting place if you are interested either in fabric or engineering. Very helpful staff. It's a bit out of the way. We walked there on a hot Sunday afternoon and took the train back. It's only one stop to Lago Nord but was well worth it and only cost 60 cents.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went here with my children and father and we all really enjoyed it. I had no idea how difficult and technical it is to make silk! There is a lot of information in a small amount of space, I could see how having a guide could make it all more confusing. We didn’t have a guide, just did the self guided tour but they gave us a detailed English information booklet to read about all the stages. I’m way more impressed with silk products now.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had been here with the Kids. Everything is in Italian and English. Parts of the exhibition is interactive.
We learnt a lot about silk production in Como. However the museum could be much better; better museum shop, more languages, more kids friendly, more Infos about todays silk production in Como, a small museum cafe
