★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm a local, living in a little town distant a few km from Naples and this Musem. I'm 44 years old and i did feel ashamed for viewing such a beauty only after so much time.
The treasure kept in this Museum is amazing and San Gennaro is one of the most iconic figure of Naples. After my visit i started to understand better why.
I suggest to visit the museum with a guide, for me made a huge difference. Without a guide, may be you don't fully understand the meaning of the exposed masterpieces that melt with the mystery and glory of this Saint.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well I'm suspicious to say something about the cathedral of the saint that my name and my history came from. Putting the emotions beside, I really get impressed by the conservation of the images walls and the whole cathedral. Its seems like it was made not so long time ago and this makes you feel like been part of that. Enjoy the experience because it's very pure.
