Al suo interno si possono ammirare innumerevoli e prestigiosi resti della civiltà vissuta nei pressi del monte hippana (la montagna di fronte al paese)risalente al IV secolo a.C. la conservazione dei succitati reperti è molto buona a volte anche intatta seppur trascorsi centinaia di anni.Servirebbe del personale qualificato e preparato per illustrare e spiegare il significato nonché la storia di questa civiltà e si dovrebbero valorizzare molto di più a livello turistico queste risorse dal valore immenso per un piccolo paesino dell' hinterland palermitano.
