Circa 2000 abitanti lieti di accogliere i non residenti che hanno acquistato la seconda casa in collina per trascorrere i fine settimana in completo relax senza dover pensare ad ore di coda per il rientro. Riposante quindi e con una bella vista può essere presa in considerazione come lunga boccata di ossigeno prima del Lunedì.
 On the western shore of Lake Iseo, in the province of Bergamo and a ten-minute drive from Sarnico, you arrive at Tavernola located in front of Monte Isola. About 2000 inhabitants are happy to welcome non-residents who have bought their second house in the hills to spend the weekends in complete relaxation without having to think about hours of queuing for the return. So relaxing and with a beautiful view, it can be considered as a long breath of oxygen before Monday.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely picturesque town with a beautiful view. There is a ferry station to take a boat trip on the lake and to the isle.
The Romanesque parish church of St. Peter (San Pietro), which dates back to the 13th century, is of considerable importance. Inside you can see frescoes by Romanino. Then there is the Baroque church right in the centre, built in the 20th century and dedicated to the patron saint of the village, Saint Mary Magdalen (Santa Maria Maddalena).
Villa Fenaroli also deserves a mention; dating back to the 16th century, it has a large botanical garden with several rare species.
