Più che discreta la torta fritta con prosciutto crudo. Tortelli di zucca leggermente troppo al dente (de gustibus) e non arrivati abbastanza caldi. Ottimo il dolce della casa e con la degustazione di torte.

The fried pie with raw ham is more than discreet. Pumpkin ravioli slightly al dente (de gustobus) and not hot enough. The sweet of the house is excellent and with the tasting of cakes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Purtroppo la braciola di maiale e la salamella erano immangiabili, la costina di maiale misurava 4cm x 5cm credevo fosse uno scherzo, la cameriera molto gentile e professionale dopo aver domandato se tutto andava bene ha portato via il piatto senza battere ciglio, non potevo fare discussione perché ero a tavola con un amico della zona ma il mio piatto di carne era immangiabile. Contrariamente gli affettati (due fette) a testa erano ottimi, gnocco fritto eccezionale (due) anche il vino rosso è ottimo, prezzi nella media, porzioni a mio parere modeste.
Unfortunately the pork chop and salami were inedible, the pork rib measured 4cm x 5cm I thought it was a joke, the very kind and professional waitress after asking if everything was ok took the dish away without batting an eyelid, I could not argue because I was at the table with a friend from the area but my meat dish was inedible. Contrary to the cold cuts (two slices) each were excellent, exceptional fried dumplings (two) also the red wine is excellent, average prices, portions in my opinion modest.

Portate modeste con buone pietanze tipiche della cucina di Parma e provincia...Personale cordiale e professionale. Consigliato, anche per il parcheggio esterno. Molto carina l'idea per San Valentino della calamita con una foto a scelta per 5€, è stata molto apprezzata!
Very nice place, just below Torrechiara (Surely in summer it makes it even more). Modest courses with good dishes typical of the cuisine of Parma and its province ... Friendly and professional staff. Recommended, also for outdoor parking. Very nice the idea for Valentine's Day of the magnet with a photo of your choice for € 5, it was much appreciated!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Restaurant at the foot of Torrechiara's castle. Very beautiful and old styled place. The typical food of the area is very well prepared and it's absolutely a must to stop and try those speciality. The staff is brilliant and very helpful.
