★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ci siamo stati a Gennaio 2021 esplorando Erba. Un bellissimo monumento che parte dalla scalinata nei pressi del municipio e sale fino al teatro neoclassico sulla cima della collina. Da qui si gode di una splendida vista sui monti circostanti e sui laghi poco distanti. Volendo da qui si può proseguire per una bellissima passeggiata tra i vicoli e le ville che popolano la collina dietro il monumento.
We were there in January 2021 exploring Erba. A beautiful monument that starts from the staircase near the town hall and goes up to the neoclassical theater on the top of the hill. From here you can enjoy a splendid view of the surrounding mountains and the nearby lakes. If you want from here you can continue for a beautiful walk through the alleys and villas that populate the hill behind the monument.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il Monumento ai Caduti è stato progettato dall'architetto G.Terragni nel 1926 in memoria dei caduti della Grande Guerra (1915-1918) e realizzato nel 1931.
Il monumento si trova in posizione panoramica e domina la città.
La monumentale scalinata in pietra è rivolta verso C.so XXV Aprile, la scalinata è castituita da 4 rampe di gradoni intervallati da 3 pianerottoli conduce al Sacrario dove campeggia la scritta "Per quelli che furono, per quelli che sono, per quelli che saranno".
The War Memorial was designed by architect G.Terragni in 1926 in memory of the fallen of the Great War (1915-1918) and built in 1931.
The monument is located in a panoramic position and dominates the city.
The monumental stone staircase faces C.so XXV Aprile, the staircase is made up of 4 flights of steps interspersed with 3 landings leading to the Shrine where the inscription "For those who were, for those who are, for those who will be" stands out .
