Cmq è comoda per raggiungere Firenze
Trenitalia normal station, perhaps a little neglected.
Anyway it is convenient to reach Florence

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ una stazione come altre di paese anche se ha bisogno di un pò di ristrutturazione e ogni tanto quelle macchinette per comprare i biglietti dovrebbero essere funzionanti entrambi perchè quella dei soldi (monete,banconote) ogni pochino o non fa il touchscreen o non prende le monete e questo mi è capitato molteplici volte
a station like other towns even if it needs some renovation and sometimes those machines to buy tickets should both work because the money (coins, banknotes) every little bit or does not make the touchscreen or does not take the coins and this happened to me many times

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La stazione è piccola e completamente automatizzata (non ci sono i servizi di biglietteria ed informazione tradizionali), è abbastanza pulita pure se necessita di manutenzione.
Ha una sola piccola sala di attesa per entrambe le direzioni e solitamente nei mesi freddi è occupata dai senzatetto.
La cosa peggiore è che non esiste accesso ai binari per disabili o persone in carrozzina, a meno che non si arrivi dai parcheggi auto (nuovo per direzione Firenze, vecchio per direzione Empoli), perché dall'accesso pedonale del sottopassaggio ci sono solo scale.
The station is small and completely automated (there are no traditional ticket and information services), it is quite clean even if it needs maintenance.
It has only one small waiting room for both directions and is usually occupied by homeless people in the cold months.
The worst part is that there is no access to the tracks for the disabled or people in wheelchairs, unless you arrive from the car parks (new for Florence, old for Empoli), because there are only stairs from the pedestrian access to the underpass.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My father visited this station in 1982 and he only has good things to say about it. Apparently it had great washing facilities and a lovely patch of grass outside on which to rest. I am planing on visiting myself at some point in the future and look forward to appreciating its rustic charm.
