P	Paololitico on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Magnifica camminata (circa 45 minuti), facile, nel bosco e itinerario ben tracciato. Dalla vetta nelle giornate limpide si vede fino all'Isola d'Elba (verso sud) e fino al monte Rosa (verso nord). Visibile anche il Monviso. Luogo stupendo e carico di storia: la vetta, in età romana, era dedicata al dio ligure Pen. Magnificent walk (about 45 minutes), easy, in the woods and well-marked itinerary. From the summit on clear days you can see up to the Island of Elba (towards the south) and up to Monte Rosa (towards the north). Monviso is also visible. Wonderful place and full of history: the summit, in Roman times, was dedicated to the Ligurian god Pen.

F	Francesco Di Pasquale on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Magnifico parco del monte penna, fa faggete e abeti al rifugio, posto stupendo in tutte le stagioni, in primavera quando fioriscono tutti i fiori, in estate per venire a prendere un po' di fresco, in autunno per i funghi e per il colore dei boschi, ed in inverno per camminate e ciaspolate! Posto davvero magnifico! Magnificent park of Monte Penna, with beech and fir trees at the refuge, a wonderful place in all seasons, in spring when all the flowers bloom, in summer to come and get some fresh air, in autumn for mushrooms and for the color of the woods, and in winter for walks and snowshoeing! Really great place!
M	Marco Pagliughi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A mio avviso uno tra i monti più belli dell'appennino ligure-emiliano, per la sua forma aguzza e per il vasto e bellissimo panorama che offre la vetta. La salita può realizzarsi in vari modi, tramite ferrata o lungo il sentiero. Il sentiero è sempre ben evidenziato. L'ultimo tratto di salita può risultare impegnativo, ma resta comunque alla portata di tutti. Rifugi nelle vicinanze, come le Casermette del Penna (a cui ci si può comodamente arrivare in auto, e che può essere un punto di partenza per una semplice gita sulla vetta) o il rifugio verso il monte Aiona. Molti, di vario tipo e tutti stupendi i percorsi che si possono creare per giungere al monte, a seconda del luogo di partenza e di quanto si vuole camminare. Da visitare in tutte le stagioni per apprezzare i colori, la neve, i funghi e i vari aspetti della ricchissima vegetazione che arriva quasi in prossimità della vetta e si prolunga lungo tutte le vallate circostanti. In my opinion one of the most beautiful mountains of the Ligurian-Emilian Apennines, due to its sharp shape and the vast and beautiful panorama that the summit offers. The climb can be done in various ways, via ferrata or along the path. The path is always well marked. The last part of the climb can be challenging, but it is still within everyone's reach. Refuges nearby, such as the Casermette del Penna (which can be easily reached by car, and which can be a starting point for a simple trip to the summit) or the refuge towards Mount Aiona. Many, of various types and all wonderful paths that can be created to reach the mountain, depending on the place of departure and how far you want to walk. To visit in all seasons to appreciate the colors, the snow, the mushrooms and the various aspects of the rich vegetation that comes almost close to the summit and extends along all the surrounding valleys.
B	Beatrice Oberti on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Si può raggiungere da due diversi versanti con con due diversi gradi di difficoltà, la differenza è solo nell'esposizione, la salita è garantita!! La gita a partire dal passo dell incisa o dal rifugio casermette del penna è di circa un oretta, un oretta e mezza...gita consigliatissima poiché la vista poi ripaga la fatica ? It can be reached from two different sides with two different degrees of difficulty, the difference is only in the exposure, the climb is guaranteed !! The trip starting from the Passo dell Incisa or from the Casermette del Pen refuge is about an hour, an hour and a half ... highly recommended tour because the view then repays the effort ?
