Un bosco tanto incantevole quanto importante tanto da essere la 1ª Riserva MaB d’Italia dal 1977 , patrimonio UNESCO e gestita dal Corpo Forestale dello Stato attraverso un programma di ricerca e gestione sperimentale. Per chi passa per il Molise è una tappa da non perdere!!
In the heart of Molise that "doesn't exist" there is this wonderful place that leaves its mark!
A forest as enchanting as it is important enough to be the 1st MaB Reserve in Italy since 1977, a UNESCO heritage site and managed by the State Forestry Corps through a research and experimental management program. For those passing through Molise it is a stop not to be missed !!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il posto è molto bello e fino all'anno scorso era possibile utilizzare tavoli da picnic, bracieri e bagni messi a disposizione gratuitamente dalla forestale.
Quest'anno un furgoncino che vende panini e gelati ha di fatto reso privato ciò che era pubblico ed è diventato tutto a pagamento. La cosa pare sia avvenuta tramite regolare bando ma ciò non giustifica la dissennata scelta da parte da parte delle istituzioni.
Peccato per questa novità che danneggia di molto la godibilità del territorio senza aggiungere servizi.
Rimane il solito baretto (bar H) che offre tutti i servizi bar e cucina ma solo presso i propri tavoli.

The place is very beautiful and until last year it was possible to use picnic tables, braziers and toilets made available for free by the forestry.
This year a van that sells sandwiches and ice cream has in fact made private what was public and everything has become paid. This seems to have happened through a regular ban but this does not justify the insane choice by the institutions.
Too bad for this novelty which greatly damages the enjoyment of the territory without adding services.
It remains the usual bar (bar H) which offers all the bar and kitchen services but only at their own tables.
