F	Fabio Roman on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Monte facilmente raggiungibile e dal dislivello molto contenuto, ma selvaggio al punto giusto nel dare la sensazione di conquista della vetta. Dalla cima il panorama è spettacolare sia dal lato pianura, con vista che si spinge fino al mare (ben visibile anche Venezia con il binocolo nelle giornate serene), sia dal lato dolomiti friulane dove si scorge buona parte della catena montuosa. Semplicemente delizioso. Mount easily accessible and with a very low gradient, but wild at the right point in giving the feeling of conquering the summit. From the top the view is spectacular both from the plain side, with a view that goes down to the sea (Venice is also clearly visible with binoculars on clear days), and from the Friuli dolomites side where you can see much of the mountain range. M	Mariarosa Genovese on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il Ciastelat 1641m lo si nota bene dal Pala Fontana, é sì facilmente raggiungibile dal Piancavallo con poco dislivello, ma x chi non si accontenta di raggiungerlo in poco può partire dalla pedemontana x i numerosi sentieri cai e concatenarlo col Pala Fontana. Cima abbastanza selvaggia, ideale x chi vuole stare da soli. Bellissimo panorama. The Ciastelat 1641m can be clearly seen from the Pala Fontana, it can be easily reached from Piancavallo with little difference in height, but for those who are not satisfied with reaching it in a short time, they can start from the foothills x the numerous CAI paths and link it with the Pala Fontana. Wild enough top, ideal for those who want to be alone. Beautiful landscape.

Io lo ho raggiunto da giais e lo ho trovato abbastanza impegnativo(soprattutto dopo Valfredda e in più il sentiero subito dopo quest'ultima era segnato abbastanza male). INVECE chi è un po' meno allenato o vuole semplicemente fare meno fatica può partire da piancavallo perché c'è meno dislivello e meno strada. Consiglio per la bellezza del panorama e del sentiero Beautiful landscape. I reached it from giais and I found it quite challenging (especially after Valfredda and in addition the path immediately after the latter was quite badly marked).
