Si può arrivare da Riva, da Sestri o da San Bartolomeo, il dislivello non è tanto, magari meglio evitare le giornate e le ore più calde. L	La via della lentezza on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Una bella passeggiata escursionistica tra Riva trigoso e Sestri Levante? Beh, Punta Manara e il Monte Castello. Un bel sentiero che si prende partendo dal centro di Sestri (da una delle vie del centro dove ci sono molti negozi). Ben indicata la via, si scoprono bei panorami e ci si ricongiunge al sentiero verde azzurro (ora Sentiero Liguria). Si cammina sempre all'ombra, nel primo tratto. Il Monte Castello invece è molto esposto al sole, quindi si raccomanda una cappello e molta acqua. La cima del monte ha anche dei tavoli e della panchine, tutto collocato al sole cocente. Nota dolente del sentiero, come per quasi tutti quelli di queste zone, la totale assenza di acqua. E non è roba da poco visto che nemmeno al rifugio non custodito (bivacco di Punta Manara) hanno pensato di mettere una fontanella. A nice hiking walk between Riva trigoso and Sestri Levante? Painful note of the path, as for almost all those in these areas, the total absence of water. And it is no small thing since even at the unguarded refuge (bivouac of Punta Manara) they thought of putting a fountain.

Bellissimo posto bellissimi panorami. 5 stelle. Very simple and undemanding excursion. It is absolutely worth getting up to Monte Castello and then going down to Torre di Punta Manara.
