 Beautiful village where you can breathe the air of other times. Noteworthy is the fortress on the top of the hill. The shops in the historic center are beautiful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Incantevole borgo medievale, quasi fiabesco, circondato da una possente cinta muraria e dominato da un antico castello di autentica perfezione architettonica, il borgo è rimasto pressoché intatto dal XVI secolo.
Il centro storico è dominato dalla possente Rocca, fortezza costruita nel 1361. Il panorama che si gode dai bastioni della rocca è davvero spettacolare, La fortezza spesso diventa lo scenario ideale per festival, eventi, e concerti, come il famoso Jazz & Wine Festival, che si tiene a Luglio ogni anno.
I vicoli di Montalcino sono davvero incantevoli e il borgo è il luogo ideale dove poter passeggiare tra il labirinto di bei negozi di arti e mestieri, caffè, ristoranti ma anche dei suoi favolosi monumenti storici, prendetevi un po' di tempo per assaporare un ritorno al medioevo.
Enchanting medieval village, almost fairytale, surrounded by mighty walls and dominated by an ancient castle of authentic architectural perfection, the village has remained almost intact since the sixteenth century.
The historic center is dominated by the mighty Rocca, a fortress built in 1361. The view from the ramparts of the fortress is truly spectacular. The fortress often becomes the ideal setting for festivals, events, and concerts, such as the famous Jazz & Wine Festival, held in July every year.
The alleys of Montalcino are truly enchanting and the village is the ideal place to stroll through the labyrinth of beautiful arts and crafts shops, cafes, restaurants but also its fabulous historical monuments, take some time to savor a return to the Middle Ages.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Montalcino it's a beautiful medieval town with extraordinary views of the Val d'Orcia. It's main focus are the wine and gastronomic tourism. It's famous for the wines Rosso di Montalcino and Brunello di Montalcino, strain Sangiovese with plenty of wine shops, restaurants, hotels, B&B's and beautiful souvenir shops in town and exquisite wineries and country hotels around the area. It's a must see!!!
