★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A previous time in Sorrento I saw this place and I couldn’t visit it but the decoration attracts me. So I visited this time and definitely I wouldn’t recommend it. Once that you’re seated you pay attention to the decoration and looks not so nice but old and even cheap, let’s say. The star of the house is an elder waiter calls Mimi (Domenico) who with his histrionic style would do anything to get people in to the restaurant. I personally avoid this kind of services but I let Mimi involved me because I was anyway on my way to get in to the place. But again I wouldn’t recommend it, particularly because of the food. I asked for some fish and I had to finish because I think is bad manners not to finish a meal as anyway was nothing “wrong” with the food but really not a good kitchen. Then when I visited the toilet I took a look into the kitchen and in general I could say that is nothing but a tourists trap. Avoid it and have a better meal in other place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I liked the food and funny waiter „Mimi“. The pasta tasted good when I was eating but it was bit heavy afterwards.
I appreciated that the juice was nicely cold!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food at a reasonable price. You can find this restaurant down a narrow side street off the main square. The staff are friendly and the service was really good. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection. When we asked for the bill they brought us each a small ice-cream free of charge. They make the ice-cream themselves every day. A thoroughly enjoyable experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had dinner at the Monnalisa tonight based on a recommendation a few days ago and it was lovely.
Firstly we had a warm welcome from Mimi our waiter, really nice chap.
We ordered aubergine parmigiano for starters then my wife had the halibut and I the veal escalope, all dishes cooked well, nicely presented and delicious.
The outdoor location is on a corner so apart from dinner it's a great spot for a bit of people watching.
So great food , great location and a big thank you to Mimi for looking after us ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was extremely tasty and versatile with lots of meals to choose from. The location is great in the middle of the old city and in front of the church.
We’ve been impressed by the little snack you get before the food and the tiny ice creams after you pay the bill.
The service is a little chaos and slow when it comes about the bill.
We have been overcharged by the waiter, mistaken the wrong meal for a more expensive one when he did the order.
