★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Situato nella zona collinare di Ortì vi risiedono le suore di clausura e per questo diventa non accessibile al pubblico se non in occasione di cerimonie religiose o altri eventi. Peccato perché si gode di una vista mozzafiato di tutta costa reggina e dello stretto di Messina. Al tramonto è davvero uno spettacolo unico.
Located in the hilly area of Ortì, the cloistered nuns live there and for this reason it becomes inaccessible to the public except for religious ceremonies or other events. Too bad because you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the entire Reggio coast and the Messina Strait. At sunset it is truly a unique sight.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Der Weg nach oben ist zu Fuß anstrengend, dafür sehr schön, durch Obstgärten. Oben angekommen ist die Enttäuschung groß: das Areal ist abgesperrt, man sieht weder den Monastero, noch hat man Aussicht.
The way up is strenuous on foot, but very beautiful, through orchards. Once at the top, the disappointment is great: the area is cordoned off, you can neither see the Monastero nor have a view.
