Tutti gentili ed in modo particolare con chi, come me, si sente un po' spaesato per differenze religiose, culturali e linguistiche. Un'esperienza che definirei personalmente "interessante" ma che non mi sentirei di ripetere se non la si vive anche su un piano spirituale. Il luogo, infatti, non si presta ad una visita autonoma, non presenta eccelse opere d'arte e la struttura del monastero non è tale da giustificare note di rilievo dal profilo architettonico. C'è pace, questo sì, ed il panorama inusuale di Arona che si gode dal lastricato all'ombra del pergolato è davvero molto bello invitando a riflettere sulla sottile trama del nostro vissuto. Solo per chi è alla ricerca di risposte interiori; per tutti gli altri suggerisco ben altri luoghi. Small enclave of the Orthodox Church in the old Arona area. All kind and especially with those who, like me, feel a bit confused due to religious, cultural and linguistic differences. An experience that I would personally define as "interesting" but that I would not feel like repeating if it is not lived on a spiritual level as well. The place, in fact, does not lend itself to an independent visit, it does not present excellent works of art and the structure of the monastery is not such as to justify important notes from the architectural profile. There is peace, yes, and the unusual view of Arona that can be enjoyed from the pavement in the shade of the pergola is really very beautiful, inviting us to reflect on the subtle texture of our experience. Only for those looking for inner answers; for all the others I suggest other places.
