Inoltre è perfetto per girare in mtb o motocross dato che offre dei sentieri davvero divertenti, per non parlare del tramonto spettacolare che si può ammirare di sera. È anche un ottimo posto per fare foto o video, mi fermo qui ma ci sono tante cose da dire su questo posto meraviglioso....vi invito a visitarlo sono sicuro che non vene pentirete. I've been going over Sant'Anna for years now, and I must say it has never bothered me .... it is a wonderful place not to mention the secret garden and the wonderful view it offers. It is also perfect for riding mtb or motocross as it offers some really fun trails, not to mention the spectacular sunset that can be seen in the evening. It is also a great place to take photos or videos, I stop here but there are many things to say about this wonderful place .... I invite you to visit it I'm sure you won't regret it. Peccato che oramai è un rudere dimenticato, tetto sfondato dalla pioggia, mura consumate dal vento, monastero consumato dai rampicanti che a momenti se lo mangia completamente, ci vorrebbe un opera di restauro completo, comunque una cosa positiva è il panorama molto suggestivo. Ci vorrebbe un intervento da parte del comune per riportarlo agli antichi splendori. A beautiful monastery ... Too bad that it is now a forgotten ruin, a roof smashed by the rain, walls worn down by the wind, a monastery consumed by creepers that at times eats it completely, it would take a complete restoration work, however a positive thing is the view very suggestive. It would take an intervention by the municipality to bring it back to its former glory.

An added benefit is this can be used as a starting off point for marked hiking trails for the surrounding hills. The monastery was interesting to visit, and I had an enjoyable day spent hiking in the great outdoors. The only downside is on the drive up, there is a very small section of road that is washed out. You can easily drive around it, but it does make me feel a little uneasy. Fortunately, that is just one small spot.

Hiked here for a few hours today, on the first day of spring and saw 3 other groups of 2 over the span of 3 hours... very peaceful, with beautiful views from Ischia to Gaeta. Park in the church parking lot and walk, or drive part of the way up. (the road is closed about 1/2 way up, as it is washed out.) eNJoy!
