★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il monastero carmelitano dei santi Giuseppe e Teresa era situato a Terni nei pressi della porta spoletina. Fu ultimato nel 1618 quando vi si stabilì la prima comunità monastica. Nella storia il monastero ha cambiato sede più volte, fino ad arrivare a quella attuale sulla sommità di una collina a poca distanza dall'area urbana.
Inoltre si, narra de "la serva di Dio"
Caterina Tramazzoli; nasce a Terni nel 1605, entra in convento a 21 anni e diventa Sr Maria Eletta di Gesù, solo tre anni dopo viene chiamata a portare la luce della fede in Europa, fonderà il Carmelo di Vienna, di Graz e di Praga, dove morirà nel 1663.
E' in corso la causa di beatificazione
The Carmelite monastery of Saints Joseph and Teresa was located in Terni near the Spoleto gate. It was completed in 1618 when the first monastic community was established there. Throughout history, the monastery has changed location several times, up to the current one on the top of a hill not far from the urban area.
