C'è un piccolo spazio per fare merenda e lo spettacolo naturale e quello architettonico sono garantiti! Fantastic water mill for grinding wheat and cereals. Bellissima e al contempo stesso affascinante la storia che c'è dietro a questo mulino chiuso intorno agli anni sessanta ma tutt'oggi perfettamente conservato e ancora visitabile all' interno. Spectacular mill just 400 meters from Fiumicello accessible via a path that can also be easily traveled by children. The history behind this mill closed around the sixties but still perfectly preserved and can still be visited inside is beautiful and fascinating at the same time.

Dopo un periodo di decadenza, i proprietari (famiglia Mingozzi) lo ristrutturano diventando così un elemento di attrazione turistica in un contesto naturale di rara bellezza. Facile da raggiungere percorrendo un breve sentiero che parte dalla frazione di Fiumicello, sentiero che si infila in una stretta vallata costeggiando il torrente. La scena che si presenta assomiglia a quella di una favola, il mulino in pietra ben conservato, lo scorrere lento dell'acqua del torrente, il ponticello in legno e l'esuberante vegetazione circostante. E' possibile superare il mulino e percorrere un tragitto in cui si affianca la vasca di accumulo acqua necessaria al funzionamento del mulino e poi il canale che alimenta la vasca, canale che si stacca da torrente decisamente più avanti. Il mulino era chiuso in occasione della mia visita ma pare che venga aperto nei giorni festivi per essere visitato. Built around 1100, it worked with mixed fortunes until 1963. After a period of decline, the owners (Mingozzi family) refurbished it, thus becoming an element of tourist attraction in a natural setting of rare beauty. Easy to reach along a short path that starts from the hamlet of Fiumicello, a path that winds into a narrow valley along the stream. The scene that presents itself resembles that of a fairy tale, the well-preserved stone mill, the slow flow of the water of the stream, the wooden bridge and the exuberant surrounding vegetation. It is possible to pass the mill and travel along a path in which the water accumulation tank necessary for the functioning of the mill is flanked and then the channel that feeds the tank, a channel that branches off from the stream much further ahead. The mill was closed on the occasion of my visit but it seems that it is open on holidays to be visited.
K	Kokalos Fabio on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il mulino dista 10 minuti scarsi dal ristorante fiumicello, ci sono due percorsi , uno che costeggia il fiumiciattolo ed è immerso in un ambiente da favola con cascate e laghetti con acqua trasparente, l'altro è più diretto ma non gode dello stesso panorama..obbligo farci una visita, la domenica mattina è aperto e se si ha fortuna azionano il mulino con la sua turbina ad acqua storica! The mill is just 10 minutes from the fiumicello restaurant, there are two paths, one that runs along the river and is immersed in a fairytale setting with waterfalls and ponds with transparent water, the other is more direct but does not enjoy the same view .. a must to visit us, on Sunday morning it is open and if you are lucky they can operate the mill with its historic water turbine!

La visita è affascinante grazie alla bellissima spiegazione con tanto di funzionamento . 8 generazioni che nella storia hanno mantenuto vivo questo vecchio mulino, che oggi ne è diventato un'attrazione quasi unica nel suo genere. Oltre a questo, tante belle sculture sulla pietra che lo zio scolpiva. Molto particolare l'album in pietra. Un grazie a chi nel tempo ha mantenuto viva questa tradizione, conservando le opere, che meritano di essere visitate.
