★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Famoso per i macallè,oggi ho voluto cedere alla tentazione con la variante del gelato, piacevolmente sorpresa, in bocca ho avvertito la consistenza cremosa del gelato, che pochi sanno fare, ma il mio voto va soprattutto al gusto dei gelati, hanno carattere, degni di chiamarli tale!
Peccato per il bar un po' datato, ma devo dire soddisfatta a pieno !
 Famous for macallè, today I wanted to give in to temptation with the variant of ice cream, pleasantly surprised, in my mouth I felt the creamy consistency of ice cream, which few can do, but my vote goes above all to the taste of ice creams, they have character, worthy to call them that!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bar dall'aspetto apparentemente antiquato e poco attraente. Il servizio è stato molto veloce. Il macallé farcito di ricotta è, sostanzialmente, motivo dell'ottima valutazione. Deliziosi i lievitati dolci fritti e gustosa la fine e cremosa ricotta. Profumi e consistenza lo rendono unico e inconfondibile in tutto il territorio. Buono il rapporto qualità-prezzo.
Seemingly dated and unattractive looking bar. The service was very fast. The macallé stuffed with ricotta is basically the reason for the excellent evaluation. The fried sweet leavened products are delicious and the fine and creamy ricotta is tasty. Aromas and consistency make it unique and unmistakable throughout the territory. Good value for money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ consigliato dalla mia amica e collega Giovanna durante un tour in bici di 130 km andiamo al bar Mokambo per provare il Makalle' di ricotta. La mia amica sostiene che è il migliore Makalle' di Sicilia (per cui del mondo). dopo aver divorato quello di taglia media, seduti in tranquillità nella bellissima piazzetta barocca, devo dare atto che Giovanna ha assolutamente ragione. La pasta soffice, la ricotta vaccina delicatissima, i km accumulato nelle gambe... hanno avuto la meglio sulle generose dimensioni del dolce che a prima vista ci ha lasciati attoniti... un ringraziamento particolare va al personale di banco, ragazzi simpatici e molto gentili. una esperienza da non perdere.
recommended by my friend and colleague Giovanna during a 130 km bike tour we go to the Mokambo bar to try the ricotta Makalle '. My friend claims it is the best Makalle in Sicily (hence the world). after having devoured the medium-sized one, sitting quietly in the beautiful baroque square, I must acknowledge that Giovanna is absolutely right. The soft dough, the very delicate cow's milk ricotta, the km accumulated in the legs ... they got the better of the generous size of the cake that at first sight left us astonished ... a special thanks goes to the counter staff, nice guys and a lot kind. an experience not to be missed.
