Serviva direttamente il castello di miramare, c'è anche la rimessa per la carrozza collegata internamente alla sala d'attesa. Ci si aspetta che arrivi un treno a vapore da un momento all'altro Railway station of the line wanted by the Habsburgs to connect Trieste to Vienna. Ha una bella vista e per raggiungere il Castello basta percorrere 150m a piedi. Peccato che non c'è servizio. È una stazione che potrebbe diventare migliore. S	Stefano Scarpa on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La stazioncina è servita da treni regionali (più o meno uno ogni ora) ed è un'ottima alternativa per raggiungere Parco e Castello di Miramare dal centro di Trieste. Ci si arriva in 9 minuti. Dalla stazione è possibile anche salire verso Prosecco attraverso il sentiero natura. Due le scalinate per raggiungere la strada costiera: la scala Moscovina (vedi foto) e la scala Dirac, attraverso il comprensorio ICTP. The station is served by regional trains (more or less one every hour) and is an excellent alternative to reach the Miramare Park and Castle from the center of Trieste. You can get there in 9 minutes. From the station it is also possible to go up towards Prosecco via the nature path. There are two stairways to reach the coastal road: the Moscovina staircase (see photo) and the Dirac staircase, through the ICTP area.

C	Carlo Sanson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Meravigliosa stazione sulla ferrovia per Trieste voluta dagli Asburgo (non a caso il castello era stato costruito come loro residenza). La stazione è carinissima, sia per quanto riguarda il fabbricato viaggiatori tutto in legno e vetro, che il giardinetto della stazione, tenuto bene! Antica stazione ferroviaria costruita prevalentemente in legno ancora in uso per le tratte dei treni regionali.Si trova alla fine del sentiero Natura che collega la frazione di Contovello con il parco di Miramare. Accessibile attraverso un breve tunnel pedonale da via Beirut. Ideale per accedere al Parco di Miramare dall'accesso E3 distante ca'.300 mt. Diversi parcheggi gratuiti in zona A real gem of the past.
