The goods they are selling are good quality. After a few debates with the customer service, they finally understood our needs and are happy to help us. We are getting the service we asked for in the end so we will buy from them again.

Unfortunately I had a very bad experience with Milia. We ordered a sofa for delivery to Switzerland in May and we were promised delivery in July. It finally arrived in November, delivered by only 2 men who were supposed to transport the 105kg sofa over 3 floors (we had paid for that). After initially refusing, they did end up pushing up the object over the stairs and smashed a window in our hall. I informed my contact at Milia via whatsapp immediately and sent a picture of the damage. The men of the logistics firm confirmed the insurance would cover it (I looked up the word insurance in Italien as they did not speak either German or English), but did not say anything that I need to document it on the POD. Both the transportation company and Milia refused to cover the damage based on that and I had to pay the CHF 280 myself even though clearly inappropriate transportation arrangements had been made. Buying a sofa for several thousand Euro I would have expected Milia to cover this expense (even if their insurance would not do it). I definitely expected better customer care for a luxury furniture brand.

The worst online shopping experience ever had in my life Location: Singapore Advice: 1. Check all the negative reviews of this Miliashop dealer before you order. You’ll notice they offer terrible after sales service if you are unlucky to have any issue after placing order. The miliashop doesn’t commit to do what agreed in the contract. 2. If you plan to import Italy furnitures yourself to Singapore, look for the dealer that has after sales team that represents the Italian distributor here. We knew it when we got our items that some local forwarders represent the distributor in Italy. They can help if you have any issues with the items. What happened to us: We placed an order late May 2021 valued at 80,000 EUR, including 10,000 EUR white glove delivery service. (Their quote on products maybe the lowest, but they charged higher on delivery fee) The miliashop acted very professional and responded quickly before we made deposit payment, so this made us feel that they’re trustable. Then everything became frustrating after we made the 50% deposit payment. 1. Their response became so slow when we checked with the delivery date. Initially they said the lead time around 3 months, which means they were supposed to deliver latest the end of August 2021. But they never proactively updated the delayed delivery date. 2. After 2 months delay, finally miliashop shipped the items late October 2021. The transit time also took much longer than 35/40 days. We received our products late December 2021. If the above delay can excuse by manufacture and logistic issues. Okay fine. 3. The local forwarder found that Miliashop short-shipped our major sofas when they opened the container. It’s not a tiny item but 5 big boxes of sofas. Miliashop didn’t notice the items sitting in the warehouse for 2 months until we informed them! And it took them days to find out they didn’t ship the sofas. We requested them to arrange air freight for the short-shipped items but they refused by making excuses that air freight can easily damage the delicate sofas. Apparently it’s because air freight is too expensive. 4. Miliashop finally arranged shipment mid of January 2022. But the delivery for the short-shipped items are only to street level. And the items are 5 big boxes of sofa over 400kg!!! Our initial order is all white glove service, which means delivery to the unit including assembly and disposal service. Now it means we need to arrange additional workers to move the items to our unit. They even not provided the service they committed! We emailed and called them about it. They deliberately ignore our email and phone calls. This is how they handle their mistakes and fault by ignoring and avoiding.

I ordered 3 pieces of furniture from Anita at Miliashop and she was always friendly and responsive to my questions. She made the entire process easy and I highly recommend Miliashop for fairly priced high-quality items. I will definitely use them in future.

I had very had experience with this shop in terms of communication and delivery timing. At the end the products were delivered and the quality is good; for only those who don’t mind delivery delay of half a year after their promised date, and the most importantly, who can tolerate the attitude of the shop that tries to get away from the responsibility are recommended to deal with the shop. At least in my experience when I purchased the amount of 25,570Euros, I expect better service. This was the quote from my email written to the manager of the shop last year when I was very frustrated with them: What happened from my side of the story: In June, I was told that the furniture will be delivered in 6 weeks of time. So I paid 50% of the amount. After I made the payment, I received an email with a screen shot that said something in foreign language. The communication till then was all in English by the way. I used google translate and it seemed like it said in August. But I still had trust in this shop; so I went ahead and waited. In September, I still didn’t see the sign of my furniture arriving. I asked and was told it was delayed to the end of September. I was still patient and waited. But your sales representative stopped replying me which made me insanely worried. In October I was informed that one of the three pieces, the cheapest one, had arrived in warehouse and in favor of myself, the shop was paying for delivery by flight. The product arrived; however, although my order included assembly, no one has yet to come to assemble so it’s still in package here. I have no idea what the flight delivery was for. Now, in November, I’ve been told that since other products are in warehouse in Italy, I need to make full payment in order to have the shop deliver the product. In my opinion there is no way the shop has earned the trust from me. Especially the fact the shop just ignores my email when they feel like to do so, how can I send money? The shop had pushed me to the point (to feel) I was been scammed.

We purchased the Ralf table. We were anticipating that it would be lovely but had no idea what to expect with ordering the bronze glass top. It has far exceeded our expectations and the craftsmanship is exceptional. We are truly grateful for Anita’s lovely service to arrange the purchase and safe delivery from Italy to Australia. The table was so carefully boxed it arrived quickly and in perfect condition. It will become an heirloom. Thank you :)

I have purchased a couple of items from Miliashop, the latest being the Lago Morgana bedside table with very cool casters. Anita at Miliashop was very helpful and always responded to my inquiries and has been excellent help in providing information on a number of products. Miliashop is a particularly good source of lighting since many of the European lighting manufacturers are no longer disturbing through US lighting stores.
