Mikaku Sushi

Busy Saturday evening, they were under the pump and service was slow. Took an age for food to arrive. When it did it was fine, abundant, good selection and quality wasn't too bad. Prices were fair. Overall experience though - pretty average, so probably won't go back.

They just reorganized the interior but given the new DCPM we went for takeout. They were perfectly on time, friendly staff and the sushi was delicious. We'll definitely be back soon ♥️

A nice all you can eat, pretty dish’s and small portions that allows you to try more dishes. We really wanted to try the desserts but unfortunately they seem to always be out of stock when we go. All and al Would recommend if you like al you can eat style sushi.

Amazing! Unbelievable sushi experience. All you can eat was fantastic. Food was delicious and waiters were super friendly. Definitely recommend!

Location: Nice but quite hidden. Food: Expected high quality, but unfortunately not. Staff: Friendly but seemed overwhelmed. Waiting time for food: 35-40 minutes. The decorations are very nice and make this place seem like a 3-star restaurant. The staff are mostly Chinese and the owner is Chinese as well. We luckily had a friendly waitress who spoke English very well. However, when we went for dinner here the staff seemed quite stressed. When you order, you have to fill out the numbers on a sheet of paper. We had to wait for a very long time to get our food even though we ordered rather simple dishes and Sushi. Another table got their food before us even though they ordered later. The Sushi was very messily rolled and not proportioned well at all (see photo). It fell apart when trying to eat it. We did not get any Wasabi and Ginger as any Sushi place has to bring to their guests! I expected it to be high quality, but the visual was not nice. Also, the taste was just average - not worth the high prices (e.g. 2 pieces Gunkan cost 8 €). Sushi, fried balls with gamberi and Yakitori were quite disappointing. Only 1 small Yakitori Skewer came (7€ !!) And only 2 small gamberi balls (around 7 €) which you can see in my photo. In my opinion the main dishes are way too overpriced. But one positive surprise: We ordered two desserts (Yuzu Mintro & Tropical Cheesecake) which were really good. The desserts were the only thing that really matched the interior design as they looked HQ and 3-star-like. Other than that, I recommend to visit more authentic Sushi places with more appropriate prices if you want to know how Sushi really needs to taste and look like without paying a fortune.
