Historic market with excellent fruit and vegetables, flowers and fish, including local ones. Too bad for the many empty benches.

Vi andavo da piccola con la mia cara nonna.Quanti ricordi.
C'erano le contadine che portavano con i carretti i loro prodotti,,che oggi li chiamano km0.
Poi d'estate è bellissimo perché le bancarelle sono multicolori da tutti prodotti esposti,e da tanti bellissimi fiori.
L'unico neo i prezzi,se fossero un pochino più bassi sarebbe l'ideale.
Tante volte mi reco solamente per farmi un giretto e per scambiare qualche parola
perché in questi mercati esiste ancora la familiarità...........
Dimenticavo fra poco sulle bancarelle ci sarà.....la Rosa di Gorizia.
My experience in this place goes back a long way.
I used to go there as a child with my dear grandmother.
There were the peasants who carried their products with carts, which today they call km0.
Then in the summer it is beautiful because the stalls are multicolored with all the products on display, and with many beautiful flowers.
The only drawback are the prices, if they were a little lower it would be ideal.
Many times I go there just to take a ride and to exchange a few words
because familiarity still exists in these markets ...........
I forgot soon on the stalls there will be ..... the Rosa di Gorizia.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ottimi prodotti, prezzi in linea con altri mercati, peccato la struttura fatiscente e le numerose bancarelle vuote per cessata attività. Nn una bella pubblicità per Gorizia.
Excellent products, prices in line with other markets, too bad the dilapidated structure and the numerous empty stalls due to out of business. Not a good advertisement for Gorizia.

The covid period makes this place very quiet and certainly does not suit it, but the lived atmosphere still catapults you into ancient worlds full of vitality. The desks are well kept and clean. How much nostalgia in seeing in some empty photos ...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Oggi erano aperti solo 4 banchi, davvero pochi per il mercato coperto di un capoluogo di Provincia. Peccato perchè ho trovato comunque ottima qualità dei prodotti. Prezzi decisamente costosi, alla stregua di un negozio di frutta e verdura, ma comunque dispinibili i prodotti tipici.
Today only 4 stalls were open, very few for the covered market of a provincial capital. Too bad because I still found excellent quality of the products. Very expensive prices, like a fruit and vegetable shop, but typical products are still available.
