★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rispetto al mercato centrale all'aperto ovviamente è meno fornito e un po' più caro ma di solito la roba è buona e trovi solo prodotti locali e di stagione. Quando ho poco tempo preferisco fare qui la spesa. Da provare assolutamente il gelato di pistacchio
Compared to the central open-air market, it is obviously less well stocked and a little more expensive but usually the stuff is good and you only find local and seasonal products. When I have little time I prefer to shop here. Absolutely to try the pistachio ice cream

I only buy at the coldiretti market both in via Crispi and on Sunday Piazza Verga. The zero km leaves you the dishes intact for many days. Without throwing away the goods even after 8 days of purchase

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Versione al coperto del mercato del contadino che si svolge tutte le domeniche nella vicina piazza Verga. Rispetto al mercato domenicale ha il vantaggio di essere disponibile tutta la settimana ma, per limiti di capienza, ospita soltanto una selezione di produttori. Per quanto mi riguarda i miei preferiti ci sono pertanto va benissimo.
Indoor version of the farmer's market which takes place every Sunday in the nearby Piazza Verga. Compared to the Sunday market, it has the advantage of being available all week but, due to capacity limits, it only hosts a selection of producers. As far as I'm concerned my favorites are there so that's fine.

Convenient indoor market. There are many fresh products from the area and from small companies in other provinces. You can find everything from cereals, fruit and vegetables, breads, cheeses etc. A city center asset!
