★ ★ ★ ★ ★ L'Arco del Meloncello è il punto in cui inizia la salita verso la basilica di San Luca, dalla quale dista circa due chilometri. È una delle decine e decine di posti da visitare assolutamente a Bologna. A fianco troverete il mitico bar Billi, l'ottima trattoria Meloncello, la farmacia, tabaccheria, edicola e baracchina dei gelati (nella stagione). Scavalca la via Saragozza che in questo punto cambia nome e diventa Strada Statale Porrettana. È attraversato quotidianamente da molti sportivi che affrontano la salita, da molti turisti e da fedeli. Forse bisognerebbe cominciare a pensare di restaurarlo per restituirgli tutto il suo splendore.
The Arco del Meloncello is the point where the climb to the Basilica of San Luca begins, from which it is about two kilometers away. It is one of the dozens and dozens of places to visit absolutely in Bologna. Next to it you will find the legendary Billi bar, the excellent Meloncello restaurant, the pharmacy, tobacconist's, newsagent and ice cream bar (in season). Climb over via Zaragoza which at this point changes its name and becomes Strada Statale Porrettana. It is crossed daily by many sportsmen who face the climb, by many tourists and by faithful. Maybe we should start thinking about restoring it to restore all its splendor.

Tutta la città ha partecipato alla sua costruzione e la fede la si respira ad ogni curva , guardando i vari affreschi religiosi , finchè non si giunge al Santuario di San Luca !
