Gli ambienti si presentano molto puliti e accoglienti, mentre le porzioni sono medie (i piatti sono saporiti e non troppo pesanti); il personale è sufficientemente cortese. Ovviamente quando si va in questi posti è sempre consigliabile chiedere piatti appena usciti dalla cucina. Non metto 5 stelle perché mancano i numeretti e quando c'è folla questo potrebbe creare qualche piccolo ritardo. It's not bad at all! We are faced with a simple self service. The rooms are very clean and welcoming, while the portions are medium (the dishes are tasty and not too heavy); the staff is sufficiently courteous. Obviously when you go to these places it is always advisable to ask for dishes that have just come out of the kitchen. I don't put 5 stars because the numbers are missing and when there is crowd this could create some small delay.

Il locale è pulitissimo, i gestori molto gentili ed abbiamo accontentato il palato di grandi e piccini con cibo sano e genuino (verdure, polpette, pasta alle melanzane , zuppa di farro e zucca....ce n'è per tutti i gusti!)....e pensare che non erano disponibili, oggi , pizza e focacce ma.....dalla bontà dei panini .... immagino che siano altrettanto buoni! .....insomma lo consiglio vivamente!? We were passing through Avellino and we were really lucky to find this diner! The place is very clean, the managers very kind and we have satisfied the palate of young and old with healthy and genuine food (vegetables, meatballs, pasta with aubergines, spelled and pumpkin soup .... there is something for everyone! ) .... and to think that pizza and focaccia were not available today but ..... from the goodness of the sandwiches .... I guess they are just as good! ..... in short, I highly recommend it! ?

MastroGiorgio è un delizioso posto nei pressi del centro di Avellino, condotto da una famiglia affiatata che ti fa sentire subito a casa. I piatti proposti sono uno più buono dell'altro, ma la vellutata di zucca con funghi e castagne è da Oscar. Straordinario anche il pane, prodotto da loro proseguendo la tradizione di nonno Mastro Giorgio, storico fornaio. Noi ci siamo stati diverse volte e sicuramente ci torneremo. The ideal place to have a quick meal without sacrificing quality. MastroGiorgio is a delightful place near the center of Avellino, run by a close-knit family that makes you feel immediately at home. The dishes offered are one better than the other, but the pumpkin soup with mushrooms and chestnuts is Oscar-worthy. The bread is also extraordinary, produced by them following the tradition of grandfather Mastro Giorgio, a historic baker. We have been there several times and we will definitely be back.

Il personale persone educatissimi pulizia e professionalità la fanno da padrona. Consiglio anche la pastiera della signora che buona e fatta in casa . Insomma se passate da Avellino fermatevi per ne vale la pena veramente. Lo consiglio vivamente!!! I am a Neapolitan teacher. And I ate the pizza ? of this place very good and very light. The staff polite people cleanliness and professionalism are the masters. I also recommend the pastiera of the lady which is good and homemade. In short, if you pass by Avellino stop for it is really worth it. I highly recommend it !!!

Tutto di una bontà incredibile, non ci crederei neppure io se non ci fossi entrato per puro caso. Gentilissimi vecchia maniera, ti avvisano prima che tu faccia l'ordine, che la loro è una cucina tradizionale e casalinga, che i prodotti che usano, sono quanto di più artigianali e locali si possono procurare. 10 e lode, tutti meritatissimi. Grazie, i sapori di un tempo del tutto inaspettati. Complimenti. An unexpected cuisine, like that of my Mother, my Wife, my Grandmother. All of an incredible goodness, I would not believe it myself if I had not entered it by pure chance. Dear old way, they warn you before you place your order, that theirs is a traditional and home cooking, that the products they use are the most artisanal and local you can get. 10 and praise, all well deserved. Thanks, the flavors of the past completely unexpected. Well done.
