Super friendly staff, beautiful pool, wonderful and warm service, good breakfast, great dinner in the restaurant, super clean, relaxing poolside. The only thing we didn’t enjoy were the amount of noisy kids there especially by the pool, but that wasn’t the hotels fault. Everything was very well maintained and very updated, the interior styling of the room interior wasn’t as charming as it could have been, but the room was big, clean, lots of storage, and with a nice view of the poolside. We will for sure come back or recommend to friends.

Summary: I would not recommend it. There are much cuter (and cheaper) Masseria. For the price we paid per night (170€) we were highly disappointed. To make it clear, the hotel is not bad itself; it's just doesn't meet a "Masseria" experience. We had something exclusive and charming (think boutique hotel/agriturismo) in our mind, and we got something closer to an Ibis hotel - a low-cost hotel. We went to another Masseria after(Borgo Valle Rita), and it was day and night in terms of charm and service. Everything seemed relatively cheap: The plastic tables in the restaurant. The disposable paper tablecloth The shower with a plastic floor seemed like Lego and kept moving (we had to remove a moving tile). The restaurant terrasse looked like camping. We had high expectations of the "Masseria" experience, and in the end, we spent our Sejour joking between each other, spotting all the things that looked cheap. E.g. You had to pay to have a towel for the pool; the reading lights were from IKEA with the tags. I believe the dinner was the meal we enjoyed the least in our entire week (so out of +10 meals) in Puglia, both in terms of food and atmosphere. Restaurant: The terrasse was packed, and the interior looked cheap. I saw reviews about dinner by the pool, but it's only available on certain days. The restaurant is open to the public for dinner, so there were too many people to make it enjoyable, and it was super loud. Not charming, not exclusive. We had dinner in another Masseria (Borgo Valle Rita), and it could not compare. In the other Masseria, we had the experience we expected (think "Call me by your name" dinner) - whereas, in this one, it felt more like a highway restaurant. Breakfast: Because of Covid, hotels have to deal with buffets differently. However, we didn't find the way this hotel handled it was the best. Again within the other Masseria, the experience was much more excellent. Here you had to queue and ask for one person (for all clients) to put the food you selected on your plate. We had other Masseria that offered service at the table and where you could order what you wanted the day before (ready when you seat). Rooms: big and clean. The door opening is so wrongly thought. The door was opening inside the room and blocked by the curtains. So you had to open the door slightly, try to open the curtain blocking the door, enter with the door slightly open, close the door, open the curtains again, and then allow the door to open completely. So bad it was funny (it made us laugh many times thinking who was the genius who created this door/curtain system). Of course, if you don't mind having everyone seeing your entire room (transparent doors), you can leave the curtains fully open, so you don't have problems opening the door again. If you are cold, the blankets are super rustic (the same style that one from my grand grandmother). Bathroom: The shower felt cheap with the plastic floor. The hotel informs the customer that they only change the towels every three days for the environment and still offer disposable 20ml showers and shampoo plastic bottles. Like disposal plastic EVERYWHERE (which now most countries forbids) but mentioning to be ecological, it's not hard to have refillable bottles for shampoo, gel and conditioner (no conditioner btw). Views: We booked two rooms: one was by the pool, the other was next to the entrance. If you are by the pool, it's nice, but at the same time, you have like 5x solar panels ruining the views. Having a solar panel is excellent; unfortunately, they are placed next by the pool when there is so much land close to the hotel. Pros: the pool was super friendly, most of the staff were nice, the views of the room pool side are ok, everything was clean and well maintained. We saw the hotel has deals for 69€ per night (weekendesk.it) two weeks after, maybe it's a price that matches better with our experience.

Think twice before eating at this restaurant. For lunch they served us really awful children’s menu with extremely salted potatoes old smelly hamburger. They don’t have ketchup for this either. For me I ordered tuna salad and it was just half kilo of boiled potatoes with some pieces of tuna and tomatoes ….. we had to wait 35 minutes !!!!!!!! For this. Dinner service was also not the best. The kids menu was AGAIN awful - you can’t feed this to Children !!!!!! Waiting time to refill a glass of wine was more then 20 minutes. My child was hungry all day so we left this facility earlier then planned ! Very very bad :(

We came to this masseria for a lunch. The facility is very well built and the staff is very kind. The lunch is served next to the pool. The menu is very limited including some cold dishes and few particular pasta. The wine is served with a plastic wine glass. Still we payed 40 euros for 2 plate of pasta and 2 glass of wine and a water/cafe. It does not worth.

A great Masseria with a beautiful pool and comfortable, spacious rooms. The staff was very helpful and accommodating and offered us a private tour of their olive oil manufacturing facility, followed by a tasting of the different olive oils. We enjoyed a nice dinner outside on the back patio. The breakfast included with our reservation was very copious with many options to choose from (fresh juice, eggs, pastries, etc). I highly recommend staying at least one night at Masseria Stali!

This is a standard "masseria" place, nothing special, medium equipped and a comfort equal to a 2 stars hotel, but with a price for 4 stars. The breakfast is really tastie served with homemade plumcakes + a small gluten free corner + some hams and cheese, boiled eggs. The restaurant menu is various, the quality of the ingredients is definitely good, but everything in this "masseria" is too much overpriced. We'll never come again: there are several others location in the sames are (Salento) where enjoy the staying at the same price, with an appreciable swimming pool instead of a bath tub, without solar panels as landview and a better standard of quality and services as well.
