Mi hanno solamente consigliato di studiare un manuale inerente all'argomento trattato. Cercavo una disciplina orientale che si basasse sulla teoria e sulla pratica (con applicazione e motivazione anatomica, ovvero, il motivo della reazione). Davvero un peccato l'igiene e la mancanza della privacy o sicurezza degli oggetti personali, che si è soliti a portare con sé. Gli spazi sono ampi per l'esercizio della disciplina ma pochi. Lo spogliatoio è decisamente insostenibile, perciò lo sconsiglio vivamente. Il mio giudizio è d'incoraggiamento: "Insufficiente, ma sicuramente ha delle grandi potenzialità in quanto i prezzi sono accessibili ad ogni categoria di persone, ma basterebbe davvero poco! Ad esempio, visto l'ambiente, si potrebbe limitare l'ingresso ad un certo numero di persone per non creare sovraffollamento. Oppure invitare dei veri maestri cinesi o giapponesi, che attiretebbero più clientela." Luogo sicuramente più vicino al concetto di dojo orientale che alla palestra per come siamo abituati a concepirla nel nostro paese (cosa piuttosto rara nei centri italiani di arti marziali). Shodan è uno spazio dove crescere spiritualmente e dove fare nuove amicizie e socializzare con i propri compagni dopo aver praticato insieme. Le discipline sono molteplici e per tutti i gusti, consiglio caldamente di venire a fare una lezione di prova per rendersi conto personalmente e avvicinarsi al mondo delle discipline orientali. I have been attending Shodan for 4 years. Definitely a place closer to the concept of oriental dojo than to the gym as we are used to conceiving it in our country (which is quite rare in Italian martial arts centers). Shodan is a space to grow spiritually and to make new friends and socialize with your peers after practicing together. The disciplines are many and for all tastes, I highly recommend coming and taking a trial lesson to personally understand and get closer to the world of oriental disciplines.
