★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Once we went there for dinner. It was a horror. The staff does not know how to work, no one knows foreign languages. All hamily. The dishes are dirty. Products are not fresh. Mattress-sized pizza. Little tables, even for large companies. Prices are higher than in other restaurants. The last straw was when the owner of the restaurant came up to learn our impressions, and realizing that we do not speak Italian, he began to bewitch us, literally. I have never seen such a thing. This is terrible, I do not advise anyone to go there. Save your money, nerves, and stomach. So this place (it’s a shame to call such a place a restaurant), MARE MOSSO on marina donoratico is just a dirty cesspool with an uneducated owner !! Tourists should not wait for a good attitude towards themselves in mare mosso.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Reasonable fish restaurant. Good selection of fish. I had a mixed grill, Swordfish, octopus, squid and king prawns (20€). The fish was well cooked but not amazing. We had fries (€5) and grilled vegetables (€5). Portion of fries was a reasonable size but seemed to be from a supermarket, a bit surprising at the price. The grilled veg was sadly pathetic, 5 small pieces of veg ( 2 small peppers, 2 aubergine and 1 courgette slice) peppers were slimy and clearly from a jar because they were cold and had no grill marks at all. Courgette and aubergine were grilled but dry and tough. My wife had lasagne, again average and overpriced. Overall it was a bit of a disappointment. Staff were nice and professional. For the price the food should be better.
