In una cittadina come Rende, ci permette di assaporare quel giusto rilievo artistico che solitamente hanno le realtà museali delle più grandi metropoli. Rotella, Duchamp,Picasso,Warhol... ma anche artisti più sconosciuti,ma non per questo meno interessanti. The Maon has a collection of pieces, albeit minor, of the most important twentieth-century Italian and international artists. In a town like Rende, it allows us to savor the right artistic importance that the museums of the largest cities have. Rotella, Duchamp, Picasso, Warhol ... but also strangers, but no less interesting.
M	Mimmo Ceravolo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Finalmente dopo vari tentativi sono riuscito a varcare la porta del Maon e com'era prevedibile le aspettative sono state più che soddisfatte. La prima sorpresa è che non c'è biglietto d'ingresso a dimostrazione che anche l'Arte con la A maiuscola può essere resa fruibile ed accessibile gratuitamente. La mostra che visitò è "the best", tante serigrafie, disegni e bozzetti di artisti del 900 e contemporanei. Interessante il video che ripercorre la nascita del movimento culturale calabrese degli anni 70 ed in generale la storia del museo. Da tornarci sicuramente.
