★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mezzo preferito per spostarsi a Napoli: la funicolare. Non ricordo un altro mezzo pubblico che possa vantarsi della stessa dote. Tratto breve, poco frequentata.
 Favorite means of getting around Naples: the funicular. I don't remember another public medium that can boast of the same talent. Short section, little frequented.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Funicolare ad un vagone che dalla collina tra posillipo ed il vomero scende a mergellina (e viceversa), offrendo squarci di panorama del golfo. Al costo di un biglietto urbano, meglio di altri servizi turistici. In collina poi, per andare a posillipo o al vomero, ci si può affidare solo ai mezzi su ruota, quindi o la si riprende per tornare a mergellina, o si aspetta l autobus, o a piedi in circa un om e.mezzo per andaee al vomero
Funicular to a wagon that from the hill between posillipo and the vomero descends to mergellina (and vice versa), offering glimpses of the gulf panorama. At the cost of an urban ticket, better than other tourist services. In the hills then, to go to Posillipo or to the vomero, you can only rely on wheeled vehicles, so either you take it back to go back to mergellina, or you wait for the bus, or on foot in about an om e.mezzo to go to the plowshare

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Come fermata per la funicolare è abbastanza ben fatta, ma sono insopportabili le chiusure. Dal 2020 hanno deciso di mettere un'inutile navetta al posto della bellissima funicolare. Non funziona così! Loro ci tengono in mano solamente perché possono decidere senza che noi possiamo fare qualcosa. Non va bene, la funicolare era così bella, con una grande vista ed anche molto veloce. La situazione va migliorata
As a stop for the funicular it is quite well done, but the closures are unbearable. Since 2020 they have decided to put a useless shuttle instead of the beautiful funicular. It does not work like this! They only hold us because they can decide without us being able to do something. Not good, the funicular was so beautiful, with a great view and also very fast. The situation needs to be improved
