★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Huge place, really good environment but still promoting sexist things like girls get in for free and guys have to pay, which ends up in more girls going in there and also more girls getting drunk.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very bad club. The bouncer was rude and mean. Average age was over 50 and the bouncer had a strong preference for elder latinos/latinas. Also there was no official dresscode but dressing provocatively is wished for.
Would not recommend (especially not for tourists)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible experience. Club says it opens at 11:30/23:30 but doesn’t start checking ID’s until 12:20. Pickpocketed in line not realizing it. Denied entrance because I was in a dress shirt and jeans(all the other men were wearing the same thing). Better clubs in Genova to visit

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had such a great night at MAKO! You go up these part-hidden set of stairs and it opens up into an (HUGE) open area overlooking the sea including rooftop tables. Music was great, cocktails are yummy (Hugo forever) and the staff are super friendly and fun to chat with. Haven’t tried the food yet - will save that for next time...
