While visiting the ghetto we went to the Majer nearby. The staff was very first and they had very nice selection of pastries and desserts. The cannolo with ricotta, chocolate and orange peel is absolutely delicious. The coffee is great, runner up for the best coffee I've ever had in Italy. Would recommend. The day after we encountered several other Majers and after the good experience we had before we decided to go in. They messed up my coffee, even when I explicitly told them I wanted a macchiato I just got a regular black coffee instead. It was good but not what I wanted. The staff was not very friendly but my partner's cappuccino was excellent. All in all, even when experiences may vary depending on which one you visit, you can have great coffee and baked goods in here. If you want an excepcional service, coffee and pastries try visiting the one near the ghetto.

If you’re a tourist, don’t come here. Never had ruder service ordering a pastry in my life, and I was only in the store for a minute. Not worth your time.

Waited 20mins to be served while staff yelled and rolled their eyes at every customer. Cups and plates slammed into sinks. It was a circus while staff acted like animals. Waited another 20mins for cold lasagna, a wrong sandwich, a bad coffee and an inflated bill. Avoid!

Best brioche al pistacchio, very friendly staff, coffee exactly the way it’s supposed to be. Our preferred breakfast place for the entire holiday. Thank you!

I was passing by and saw their frittelle (a kind of italian donut, but not exactly it) and I couldn’t help myself, I bought some with pastry cream and a different one filled with zabaione - they were delicious. Sweet to the limit, filled all the way inside. To be honest their price is a little salty, but that’s Venice.

If staying nearby and craving for the best breakfast in all Venice, this is the place to come to. Super tasty pastry, wonderful coffee and friendly staff. Being in shade is another big plus. What more can you ask for? During this week in Venice i’ve been to several other places but this beats them all. Wish we stopped here earlier!

The staff is extremely rude ! We ordered a takeaway but since we had luggage, we wanted to sit so changed our mind. The server snatched the pizza from my mother's hands! Then came to check if we had our green pass, which we did, but refused to accept it. After some argument, we decided to eat outside. Kindly look into your staff's attitude! The pizza is very average! Nothing special!
