Shopping on line isn’t good if you are English speaking and need assistance with a problem, don’t do it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My worst experience ever! We ordered 5 pieces of furniture (we took two low sofas made of 4 module pieces for our balcony) and a table to it). After waiting for nearly tree weeks we call to check on our order and they tell us our order was LOST. That we have to make a new order and wait another 2-3 weeks. We paid everything in advance (a thousand Euro) and they refused to refund us. They said they can as an apology gift us 30 Euros for our next purchase.. Is it a joke or were they serious, hard to tell.. They said the goods are shipped from France and apparently were lost. After waiting another 2 weeks, arrived courier and we receive only 3 pieces. So only 2 modules of sofa arrived, another 2 modules not. AND also the table was missing three legs.. I guess we will have to wait another 2 weeks? Now its nearly August and everyone will soon close for holidays. Are we going to receive our stuff in winter?? We just wanted to get a nice set of outside furniture to enjoy summer days on our balcony, WHY IS IT SO HARD to complete the order without problems for Maisons du Monde?? Such a pity, because at the beginning i liked the shop and stuff seemed nice. But when it comes to delivery - NO ORGANISATION, BADLY MANAGED, A TOTAL MESS!! Very disappointed! Should have spent my money on IKEA instead because I will never order anything again from MdM! NOT RECOMMENDED!
