Però ho provato i carciofini e, taac, mi torna in mente la sensazione di assaggiare quelli che faceva mia mamma.

Reviewing a butcher's shop is not really usual but in this case I think it's worth it… ok the meat is good and they are not the only ones.
But I tried the artichokes and, taac, I am reminded of the sensation of tasting the ones my mom used to make.
