Alcuni del posto ci hanno consigliato la macelleria Il Cervati perché volevamo fare una grigliata di carne. Premetto che sono un intenditore e un buongustaio della carne Chianina e riesco a cuocere sulla brace anche bistecche da 1,5/2,0 kg alte anche 4 cm. Purtroppo la sera del 13 agosto siamo rimasti digiuni perché la carne comprata presso la macelleria Il Cervati era durissima e immangiabile Le bistecche alte 1,5 cm erano state appena macellate e messe in vendita e non frollate. La cosa assurda che l' indomani quando gli abbiamo portato la carne cotta è gli abbiamo detto che non l ' abbiamo mangiato perché dura non si sono degnati minimamente di cercare di trovare una soluzione. Il titolare persona scorbutica e presuntuosa sosteneva che l' avevo cotta male. Non volevamo i soldi indietro ma almeno un' ammissione che quel pezzo appena macellaio non andava venduto al banco. Avrà anche i prezzi bassi ma la qualità rispecchia esattamente il prezzo proposto. Da sconsigliare assolutamente. Nel frattempo ci siamo rivolti ad un' altra macelleria al centro del paese e la carne era di ottima qualità agli stessi prezzi della macelleria Il Cervati. August 2018, I am from the province of Siena and I am on vacation in Policastro with other friends. Some locals recommended Il Cervati butcher's shop because we wanted to have a grilled meat. I state that I am a connoisseur and a gourmet of Chianina meat and I can also cook 1.5 / 2.0 kg steaks even 4 cm high on the grill. Unfortunately, on the evening of August 13th we were starving because the meat bought at the Il Cervati butcher's was very hard and inedible. The 1.5 cm high steaks had just been slaughtered and put on sale and not aged. The absurd thing that the next day when we brought them the cooked meat is we told them that we didn't eat it because it lasts, they didn't deign to try to find a solution. The owner, grumpy and presumptuous, claimed that I had cooked it badly. We didn't want the money back but at least an admission that that freshly butchered piece shouldn't be sold over the counter. It will also have low prices but the quality exactly reflects the proposed price. Absolutely not recommended. In the meantime, we turned to another butcher in the center of the town and the meat was of excellent quality at the same prices as the Il Cervati butcher's.
g	germana soldati on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ottima carne davvero, una bella fiorentina dal sapore eccellente e frollata al punto giusto, ho preso anche vini falanghina ed aglianico ma non li abbiamo ancora aperti, quindi vi aggiorno dopo ... cmq si vede a vista che è tutta carne "vera" complimenti Really good meat, a beautiful Florentine with an excellent flavor and matured to the right point, I also took Falanghina and Aglianico wines but we haven't opened them yet, so I'll update you later ... cmq you can see that it's all "real" meat compliments
