P	Piero Argurio on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastico scorcio sulle Eolie recentemente ampliato con un importante opera di ripascimento. Un'ampia strada lo costeggia permettendo facile parcheggio. Di fronte area attrezzata per bambini e gelateria. Anticamente chiamata Divedetum era dotata di un pontile in legno che permetteva alle navi romane di inbarcare il sammacco, antica tintura per le tonache prodotta in loco presso un omonimo sito poco lontano. Fantastic glimpse of the Aeolian islands recently expanded with an important nourishment work. A wide road runs alongside it allowing easy parking. Opposite area equipped for children and ice cream shop. Ovviamente ci sono sempre le persone incivili che lasciano lì i mozziconi delle sigarette!! Per il resto.... il mare è stupendo! Pretty clean beach! Vi sono diversi ristoranti, bar e persino un centro commerciale e una piazza che affaccia sul mare. Peccato che il marciapiede a ridosso della spiaggia non sia molto ampio. It is possible to travel the entire coast of the municipality of Villafranca Tirrena on its seafront. There are several restaurants, bars and even a shopping center and a square overlooking the sea. Too bad that the sidewalk close to the beach is not very wide.

The beach is about two kilometers long and has panoramic view to Eol islands, and Stromnoly island with the vulkano. During the wikend is full with tourists mostly italian, but is not very krouded and noisy. The water of the Tirrenian sea is clean, clear and warm. The currents are not strong and you can easily swim. I recommend the hotel, it's value the money you pay.
