★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you like to walk around a beautiful lake, taking occasional stretch breaks in lawns, then Sarnico and Paratico is for you. A small bridge connects sarnico and paratico. Limited parking is available near the banca and CONAD supermarket. EUR 1.80 per hour. You can pay in fractions of 30 cents. You can also pay using easy park, but slightly expensive.

Of course I prefer to walk there on weekdays when there is no crowd.?
One can enjoy the wonderful lake walking along on the rebuilt embankment.
There are a lot of bars where you can sit and drink a cup of coffee.
The air is clean.
I was there yesterday and spent 2 hours just walking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice views - you can take a short walk on both sides of the lake starting from the bridge placed just outside the city centre. I'd recommend spring, but it can be enjoyable also on a mild winter day. You can also jump on a ferry for a nice tour of the lake, but check the timetable as they seem to be not terribly frequent...
