Chi si chiede come una realtà così qualitativa possa essersi costituita in questa cittadina, si sappia che questa località appartiene a un comprensorio in cui lana, tessuti e affini lavorati sono stati resi magici da diverse realtà aziendali. Gente caparbia, lungimirante, semplice nelle loro maniere e nel loro operare, hanno saputo costituire e formare, in due secoli di vite imperi e culture invidiati in tutto il mondo. A testimonianza, una parte della Loro Piana infatti è stata ripartita con una eccellenza del lusso mondiale e non con uno scalzacane qualsiasi.
